Social Distancing is the new word of the moment. Which means that in order to protect ourselves and others, we should enforce not having large gatherings.  CDC and WHO are updating their protocol as they test and find out more information, so we should do our best to follow their guidelines.
Spring season brings with it allergies and flu, this makes it harder for us to recognize what symptoms we might be going through. This also requires for us to keep our interaction with others to a minimum so that we may recognize our symptoms and take immediate care. Lehigh Valley Hospital has test kits, so please feel assured.

You should be getting two emails per student. One from Language teacher, other from Religion teacher. If you are not seeing that, first reach out to the teacher and confirm your email id. You should not leave it for your child to do the communication. Please do not call or whatsapp the teacher as this will compound the communications. If for some reason you do not get response from them, you may email us at [email protected].

Any other questions of concerns, please feel free to Email us and we will help. As always remember Prayers, faith in positive outcome and discussing with family makes things simpler and better.
Use Science to talk to your kids, this makes them trust us and take proper measure. Use Prayers to guide them. Kids should learn to meditate, be mindful and find their own inner strength. Listening to Shiva Ashtakam, VishnuSahasranama chant, Hanuman Chalisa during Aarti or on Alexa can be a fun way of creating healthy vibes around the house and minds! Pouring water over Shiv Linga brings oneness to your being.
Visualization of one getting better, staying strong has been known to help in remedial process. Keep your faith in Bhagwan and Science!

 Most important factor is stress. Our curiosity should want us to take measures but we should not make our immunity suffer. So follow basic rules of cleanliness, get together with family in evenings and do Aarti, watch funny videos, sing songs and show your family love and compassion.

Jai Shiv Shambho! Hope you and your Family had a blessed MahaShivaratri Pooja yesterday! With the blessings of Mahadeva, we enter a phase in our planetary alignments that is beneficial to our bodies and minds. We meet this Sunday for a regular class. 

 If you have signed up for Balvihar Bowling at the time of registration, you will have received an email from us. If you are interested to join us, you may reach out to us at Balvihar tomorrow. The fee is $10 per person. For a family of four the fee is $30.  We will be serving breakfast at the Bowling alley, please arrive 15 minutes early to set up with shoes. If you would like to donate a breakfast item for Balvihar, please reach out to us. We are looking for Juice, Popcorn, Snacks, Water bottles.

 We are proud to announce that HTS Balvihar has collaborated with Parkland Food Pantry, We will be making two drops per month to make sure that the families in need have food and other items for their use. We have always known that Charity, Daan is corner stone of our Dharma. No important task, Pooja or ambition is fulfilled without having first fed the poor and hungry.
1 in 4 kid in America struggles with hunger and these kids are all around us. In our schools, neighborhoods and community. Parkland Pantry has in the last year, formed an effective system to bring these families to a place where they may obtain what they need with the dignity and support that they deserve.

For these families in need, this place offers them a place of warmth, respect, no judgement and a crucial helping hand. We are not an effective religious organization if we are not of use for the needy around us. So please make this a regular part of your Balvihar visit. We will be leaving a box near the Elevator for you to drop the item that we need and our Balvihar graduates or Director will drop it off at Parkland Food Pantry. Every Balvihar Newsletter you receive, will update you with what to bring. We will be getting the supply list from Parkland Food Pantry on a regular basis. Remember any amount is acceptable. Ex : 7 tide pods in a ziploc, 7 toilet paper rolls, 2 tissue boxes from your home, 2 cans from your pantry. We deeply appreciate all that you can do. Whenever you can.

This week's items are : Tide pods, toilet paper, tissue boxes, sanitizers, Lysol / Clorox wipes, shampoo, conditioners, dish detergent, pasta and pasta sauces.

Please do not put books, clothes or other items that are not on this list. Our Balvihar graduates will be making the drop off twice a month after they do the pick up from Balvihar. 

 Balvihar Cafe Menu : Vellapalem Family and Purani Family would like to have your blessings for their daughters Sanvi and Uma who have birthdays in the month of February. All Balvihar students and Teachers will be served Vada Pau and Brownie in a Brown paper bag. 
If your child has dietary restrictions, please reach out to us and we will try our best to arrange alternatives.
The cost for Coffee and Tea in will be $1.50 because of the biodegradable cups, if you bring your own beverage cups, it will be $1 as always! Thank you.
