Thank you for a great year 2015-16 !!!

Dear Parents and Kids,

Namaste to all!!

Thanks a lot to all the parents , kids, teachers and volunteers for their involvement at different levels to make this 2015-16 Balvihar Annual Day so memorable. Hope you all enjoyed the program (except for the pizza delay :) Your feedback will be valuable for future improvements. Please click on the feedback link on our website and provide it while it is fresh in your minds :)

As an outgoing Balvihar director, I would like to thank you all for giving me and my wife Shalini the opportunity to lead this program for the last few years. It was certainly an honor for us. Thank you for making us a part of your child’s learning and for your trust and support throughout the years. All the kind words yesterday from so many of you really meant a lot to us.
We have been associated with this program for almost 10 years and find it unparalleled in terms of the value it offers. It was a great experience. We learned lots from the selfless acts of many individuals and made true friends who trusted our decisions and supported them. It was the team work that made this journey so smooth. Any such responsibility comes with its own hardships, but with the same goal of making this program better, those few hurdles didn't really matter.
We also thank Pratibhaji & Purviji for accepting the responsibility of leading the program going forward. We wish them the very best!!
Last but not the least, THANKS to all the kids. Your presence made our work at Balvihar worthwhile!
We wish you all great luck and success in your life!!

Balvihar Annual Day 2016 Information

Dear Balvihar Families,

We have already come to the end of the 2015-16 Balvihar session. It is difficult to believe that the year passed by so quickly and I would like to THANK YOU personally, as well as on behalf of the Balvihar team, for your continued support. I must add that it is teamwork that counts most of all at the end of the day. A big THANK YOU to all the teachers, volunteers, and parents that helped throughout the year in various activities. It would not have been possible without you all.

I would also like to congratulate all of the graduating kids and wish them luck in their futures. We look forward to their presentations.

Some reminders for Annual Day:

Snacks start at 3:30 pm and the program starts at 4 pm. There will be no snacks available in the middle of the program so as to keep the focus on presentations and also in order to finish promptly.
Jiteshji will be giving out wrist bands to all all the paid families. Please collect them from him as you enter. You can buy tickets for $25/family of 5 on this day.
Vivekji is the designated photographer to cover the entire event. Parents are requested to be seated. The link will be available later for everybody to download the photographs.
We request all parents to be available at the end of the program to help wrap things up quickly, rather than just a few people.
The end of the year gift for Balvihar children will be distributed only on the 21st of May. For any reason if a child is unable to attend the program, please ask you friend/family to collect it on your behalf. The year end gift will not be available after Annual Day.
Our earnest request to please maintain silence throughout the program and feel free to step outside of the hall to discuss anything that can't wait.
Just a reminder that everyone is a volunteer here. If you get a chance please thank all the volunteers for their time and efforts.

Updates from May 8th Balvihar

Dear Balvihar Parents and Balvihar Pearls,

As you all know 8th May was our last Balvihar session before the annual day and it was a very busy one packed with activities of all kinds.

Another successful Hindi Bee:
It was a wonderful experience for all the kids. Kudos to all the little participants whose enthusiasm amazed the audience. It was a definite boost to their hindi vocabulary. Very well appreciated event as this was, we hope to make it even better with your support in future. Thanks to Lokeshji and Shalini for working on this and making it a well organized and fun event. Thanks to the parents for working with their kids so well. Please find pictures of the event here. All those with this link can download them. Please do so at the earliest as they will be removed eventually.

Mother's Day celebration:
Our Religion 3 class celebrated mother's day in a special way. As part of Jananii Vandana, the kids invited their mothers and took their blessings and arranged a small tea party for them. Thanks to Pratibhaji for her efforts in putting this together for the kids and moms! Pictures can be seen on the HTS Fb page!

Indralok Animal Sanctuary:
We were honored to have Dr. lahiri and Mr. Johney visit us and give the kids a presentation about what they do. Their approach towards animal life, got kids to ask very relevant questions to them. It clearly stirred something inside them and they could make a connection. I would request that parents please visit the sanctuary with their kids for a meaningful experience. If possible we can do a field trip also in the near future.
We are looking forward to annual day which is on Saturday May 21st. Thanks for your support and cooperation so far but as you know this is a volunteer run organization and without your help we cannot expand our activities and fun. Please expect annual day specific emails to come in this week with more details and I am sure you will all be available to help wherever required!!

We need at least one more family to sign up for prasad for annual day. Please do so here if you haven't already done it. This is your opportunity.
