Thanks to all the families, old and new, who have registered for Balvihar this year. It was a great start on the first regular day with nothing but positive vibes throughout !! Thanks to Madhaviji for conducting the Ganesha Bhajan during Satsang time.
I want to thank all the current and previous teachers who have volunteered to teach our kids. It's a great responsibility and of course a great feeling, to see the growth in kids day by day.
As you can see on the calendar, our first big event is coming up on October 18th- Dussehra Celebration. Please come forward once again to make this event a success just like in the past. We have the volunteer information and will reach out to people based on the information provided. Some parents have graciously agreed to build the Raavan frame. You can still contact the following people for various tasks at hand.
Food: Pooja Yadav: [email protected]
(At least 8-10 volunteers. The menu is usually poori, vegetable, halwa or rice, chole, halwa/brownies etc with no nuts)
Raavan making: Shweta and Pradnya: [email protected] and [email protected]
(The graduating kids and about 6-8 volunteers. Kids are encouraged to help making the raven faces etc.)
Balvihar is a great means to help our children make the right choices in life which will eventually determine their future. Let's come together as a community and make this happen.
If anybody is restricted due to profession and require car pooling for kids to come to Balvihar, please let us know and we can try to help as best as we can.
Sincerely,
- Ashok Khandelwal
