Hope the Balvihar Bagpacks are aired out and ready!  We will be giving out Prarthna folders to new students. If you are unable to find the Folder of Prayers, you may download it from the Balvihar website. Please bring your Fee payment checks to complete your online registration. Volunteer - Prasad : If you are one of the 3 families signed up for Prasad please arrive at 930 am. This will be your volunteer Seva day. You are requested to ensure  In the AM slot  :      Lobby area is clean. All footwear in cubby. Set Whiteboards, Table, chairs for Teachers in Basement. Settle all students in Temple Hall.   The fruits will be put on kitchen island, kindly take 40 pieces, rinse them and put them in a vessel in front of Bhagwan. Remind your children to stand up to do aarti and they distribute prasad to all students afterwards. In the PM slot : Distribute snack pack to all Balvihar students on their way out of temple hall. Put away tables, chairs, whiteboards in library room or storage. Temple hall, rooms, Basement areas are clean. Trash free. At Balvihar :    Make sure your kids have a healthy breakfast and settle in before 10 am. If your child is 5,6 or 7 years old, we encourage you to stay in the class and help your child with the work. Get acquainted with your teacher, If the teacher finds your child adjusting well, you may stay in the lobby area. Before you leave the temple premises we require you to share your contact information with the teacher so that we can reach you in case of emergency. The first 10 minutes of Balvihar and the last half an hour are mandatory for atleast one parent to attend. This is when we are informing families of important announcements, requests for volunteering or other interesting local Indian American events.  Community Mentor Guest : This month of September in Community Mentoring we meet bright individuals in the field of Medicine. Tomorrow, We have a rising young Indian American Medicine Student - Ajay Koti share his insights with us.  He is a SELECT medical student ( Scholarly Excellence , Leadership Experience and Collaborative Training ) on his way to make a mark in the field of Pediatrics. Our young minds will be inspired by listening to his brief introduction before aarti. There will be a detailed Interactive session from 1pm - 2 pm with Dr.Koti concluding with 15 minutes of Q-A session. Make sure you join us then.   Balvihar Cafe! Anu & Raj will be whipping us steamy Idlis, crisp Dosas and Vadas in the basement. Be sure to drop by for Sunday Brunch! Your purchases help HTS to continue such facilities.
