HTS Balvihar is proud to announce the 2023-2024 Scholarship winner – Guhan Sureshkumar.

Guhan did an outstanding job of practicing what is taught at Balvihar through volunteering, recanting the ideals of our Dharma in his own words and received much acclaim from his teachers.
Guhan is a student at Parkland High School. In the Scholarship Interview held by HTS Balvihar Guhan was able to show the panel his language proficiency and understanding of Theology with humility, ease, and dedication. Combined with performance over the past years and the finals score in Dharma/Religion Level 5 year, Guhan was the panel's unanimous selection as our Scholarship winner.
Guhan has been volunteering as youth teacher at Balvihar from September 2024. Please join us in blessing for his future dreams and plans.

HTS BalVihar Gold Medal Winners of the PVSA 2019-2020

HTS Balvihar is proud to announce our Gold medal winners of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award to Abirami Chinnakaruppan and Uma Purani. These girls won the HTS Balvihar Scholarship last year and immediately assumed teaching roles assisting Religion teachers and performed their tasks beautifully. Besides Hindu Temple Society, they have volunteered at local organizations to make the world a better and happier place! We are looking forward to see more students who graduate from our Balvihar actively involve themselves as substitute teachers and volunteers in Lehigh Valley and become future PVSA award winners!
