For Balvihar Religion - 2, We will teach Mahabharata for one year & Krishna Leela in the following year.

Krishna Leela is supplemented by Amar Chitra Katha's Bhagawat - The Krishna Avatar.
 
As the students learn and understand the Theological stories of our culture, they are introduced to the various aspect of Human behavior, choices we make and the consequences relevant to the present society. They also get to learn why performing Pooja and the act of prayers strengthen the soul.

Welcome to Balvihar Religion 2 class. If your child is either in 3rd or 4th grade, this is the class for them. In case this is the first time they are attending such a Balvihar class, it is a good idea for you to sit down and introduce Ramayana, Dashavatara and Trinity of Gods and Goddess in Hindu scriptures. This is what they would have learnt in their first 2 years in Religion 1. 
​If your child was in Religion 2 last year, this is the culmination of understanding Lord Krishna's childhood stories towards his role as the Supreme Lord alongside the varied characters of Mahabharata.

Things they need in their backpack : Name written on a tag.
Notebook - Student's name written inside
Pencil case -  3 sharpened pencils, eraser and sharpener. 
Tissue packet.

The homework in this class will be limited, 15 minutes approx. It will require them to use internet so please check my emails and sit with them when they do their research.

There is a whatsapp group for all families of this class, make sure you are in it!
