Namaste,

We are so excited for our in person class at HTS Balvihar after a gap of 2 years! Back in January of 2020 we had no idea that it would take this long to meet again but we are lucky that we went virtual much before other school districts and were able to protect our children and families.

We are pleased  that our transition to virtual classes up until now was smooth and we added more classes than a regular year would have allowed us. We owe it all to our Teachers. Without their volunteering, their dedication we would have not been where we are. Our Teachers went above and beyond in the last 2 and half years to not only give time to all students but also to make sure that every student was looked after well.

In order to make sure that our 22nd May class goes smoothly here is the timeline :

9:30 am - Mantra, Aarti.
10:10 am - Language class.
11:00 am - Religion Class
12:00 - Satsangh.
12:30 - Parent Teacher End of the Year Assessment

Things to remember :
Mask is Mandatory. Arrive by 9:15 am.
Other students get disturbed during Mantra session when we walk in midsession.
Put shoes properly in the cubby.
Have your Prarthna book ready.

We will help your child get from Temple Hall to Language class.
Religion 1 : Ganga room.
Religion 2: Krishna room.
Religion 3: Yamuna room.
Religion 4 & 5 Basement.

Satsangh :
We are excited to highlight a Hindu Student from Maryland who got accepted into the Air Force Academy. Vinay Kumar from Atholton High School will share his views about his choice of serving in the military.
Parent Teacher Session : Every year we have two sessions to interact with families so that we can answer any questions and improve our performance. Please join this meeting to ask questions and share your views with us. The more you know now, less hassle on teachers and other volunteers.

Balvihar Cafe:
Balvihar Cafe will start service noon onwards. Please do not go downstairs for lunch before Satsangh. Which is 12:30 pm. Menu : Idli, Dosa, Vada, Sambhar and Chutney.

 Transition of Balvihar Leadership :

This is a great chance for you to thank your teachers with a kind note or a stem of flower! This is also when we transition to a new leadership of Shri. Venkat Veerisetty! Please show our incoming Director and Assistant Director Smt. Priya Chaturvedi the same love, support and kindness that you showed us.
This year we are gifting each student and Teacher a Balvihar T-shirt. We will distribute it to all students of 2021-22 registered year on our Registration day June 17th Friday evening at the temple.
Please make sure you tell your friends about HTS Balvihar.

Looking forward to your cooperation for our last class of 2021-2022 Academic year with meeting you all! Thank you.

Pratibha Roochir Purani - Purvi Bhojani.

Namaste,

We are at the final juncture of our HTS Balvihar 2021-2022 year! Please join us for our virtual session tomorrow May 15th Sunday. We will not have Satsangh so that Balvihar students may use the time to prepare for finals.

Balvihar May 22nd In Person Class :

Next Sunday, May 22nd - we will attend Balvihar in Person, starting at 9:30 am. We request all students to bring their Prarthna Book. After Aarti, we will move to our Language Class until 11 am. Students will move on to Religion class and then meet in Temple Hall for Satsangh.

We encourage use of masks when inside the temple as we have rising cases of Covid virus is in the valley. In order to keep everyone safe, we want families that have symptoms or are recovering from it to kindly stay at home for the safety of little kids and family members who are immunocompromised.

If your teachers for language and religion have scheduled virtual tests for Finals on other days, please check with them so that your child attends it. In case of the Finals scheduled on May 22nd, then it will be held at the Mandir.
We request all children of Balvihar to attend so that you meet your friends, teachers and share one group picture of all of us!
This class is our attempt to get all Balvihar students to experience in person sessions after 2 and half years and to start getting used to the real Balvihar experience. We will gather this as an opportunity to make things better in Sept 2022.  Please help us with your support and patience to make things go well.
