Namaste,

We had a beautiful gaiety these past classes. Thank you for the wonderful support and enthusiasm that you provided for the Deepavali celebrations.

For all those who helped out in planning and execution of Arts and Crafts - I applaud you.
Purvi Bhojani, Mamta Malik, Shalini Khandelwal, Shweta Jajodia, Jaideep Singh and our awesome Balvihar Graduates.

All the parents who had volunteered for Diwali celebrations and showed up to help for anything and everything - you are what makes our HTS Balvihar amazing! Our kids have the best time when we all make it happen.

Food committee - Pooja, Simran. What an amazing treat! Vada Paav, Jalebi and Chips. They got in the kitchen very early and made vada from scratch. They are our Annapoorna ! Thank you to Atulbhai for facilitating the Jalebi order and Pinkesh bhai for helping us out in all the tasks.  Thank you to all the parents who helped things move fast and smooth. We were able to fund our own Diwali lunch and we can feel proud of donating back to the temple in our own way. This makes us a helpful part of Temple community.

Chinna Sir - Your interactive drawing class was a great lesson for our kids to draw Jain, Sikh, Vedic symbols. They also drew Ganesha, Shiva linga and Ma Lakshmi and were so proud of their work. I never heard so many " How do you like my Ganesha?!" as I did that day!
This ability to draw a few lines and make your own bhagwan in many ways brings them closer to spirituality through creation. It teaches them drawing is easy and this is how I see my bhagwan!

Prasad - Thank you
Vivek Sir for bringing our prasad for the volunteers. Danke Mr. Rohit Sharma for bringing the paav. Gracias Rajan Sir for getting our fireworks for Balvihar kids. Dhanyavaad Priya Mishra for giving all the kids of Balvihar Sharpened pencils so that they can draw - even though you are not yet a member of Balvihar. Your time, love and efforts are deeply appreciated.

Krutagnata to
Shelke Family, Kanchana Arjun, Priyanka Rohatgi and  Mamta Malik for being at the temple early and helping us settle the rooms and prepare every area for the kids of Balvihar. Aahana Arjun and Ansh Malik, your help in setting up chairs, Arts and other heavy lifting was kindly observed and appreciated. You are the example by which we hope every present and future Balvihar student will shine! You were the designated Volunteers for the day and it makes all the difference.
Thank you Heena Parekh for bringing flowers for the Diwali pooja and donating the money for our cause. Merci Beaucoup to Deepti Verma, Anita Singhvi, Paumini Bhatt, Rupa Vinay, Sunita Arora, Vasuji, Nupur Pant, Kumuda, Paawan, Manjunath Kambhar, Kashalkars, Dipika Rana and many others who have been there for us with their kindness and hard work. My heartfelt thank you to you. Loving special mention to Neil Rana, Purvi Kirtana and Aashna Dhawan for doing things when nobody is watching or without being told. You embody Seva. My apologies to the ones who I forgot to mention. Your help is what makes our event a success and your Balvihar Family thanks you for it.
Thank you
Arnav Gupta for your presentation. We wish you good luck with your endeavour and hope all the students of Balvihar were inspired by it.

We have a class this Sunday from 10 am - 12 30 pm. Please be at the temple by 945 am.

So please remember to bring your bagpack, homework, books and pencil cases . If you missed the last class - contact your teachers to know how your child can be upto speed. Let them revise the material so that they can get into the syllabus quickly. Respond back to your teachers so that they know you are all on one page.

This week's Community mentor presentation is regarding Project management. Our mentor Chinnakaruppan is a board member in the Project Mgt Keystone Chapter. This volunteer based group teaches a very crucial life skill to all students. It  is a powerful tool that comes with the act of giving! Chinna will explain how this power is created, how it works and creates possibilities. He has already mentored a group in Eastpenn school district and brought out amazing results. I cannot stress enough how lucky we are to be able to share this with our students. Parents and students are welcome to take down notes and follow the steps to bring about a change in the way we plan our lives. Organization is a key factor that is being stressed in Elementary age kids in our school districts - Stay back after Balvihar to take benefit of a complete session in Ganga room.
Introduction to Project management 12 - 12 : 15 pm. Session 12 30 - 1 pm in Ganga room.
We have already started seeing the trickle of donations for " Diwali to Christmas". Thank you. Please sign your name when you bring the gift wrapped item and place it near the TV in the Temple Hall.

Balvihar Menu - Vada, Idli, Dosa.
