Hope your family had a good first day at HTS Balvihar last week. We are geared up for our second class of the year. Please remind your children to revise their Language Class work, go through their religion books and bring their happy bright selves to Balvihar tomorrow!
We invite Pant Family, Chinnakaruppan Family and Lal Family to help Balvihar with Seva tomorrow. Thank you for signing up. You are requested to arrive early to help with table - chair set up in Ganga, Yamuna, Narmada rooms as well as in Basement for Religion 4 & R 5. Once Teachers settle, please see if they need help with Whiteboards, help the kids put their shoes in cubby and guide them to maintain discipline.
Finally visit our kitchen in basement and collect one order of fruit 40 pieces and rinse them to bring it in front of bhagwan. We want to thank Mrs. Pooja Yadavfor bringing Fresh Fruit for Prasad every week on behalf of all of us at Balvihar. Her Idea and Seva is kindly appreciated.
If you are arriving at Noon pm Slot for seva, then after your prasad work is done, help the teachers with white boards, put tables and chairs away from all rooms where they were set up and welcome to kids to settle in Assembly. We hope Balvihar Families will help you with your tasks and make your experience a good one! Thank you.
Some of the families might have received emails regarding their payments, please meet our representatives to make sure that your Balvihar fees are in proper order.
Our Community Mentor in Balvihar this week is Ms.Dhanalakshmi (Dhanu) Thiyagarajan. She is currently a medical student at Temple - St. Luke's Hospital. She previously graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering. She grew up going to Balvihar and is really excited to come back to encourage and mentor the current students. Besides spending her free time promoting Stemm projects among students, she participates in Science Forums locally. Dhanalakshmi just returned from spending her summer in the rural areas of the Philippines where she volunteered at a medical clinic for the under privileged who do not have ready access to healthcare.
To put a feather on the cap, She has completed her Bharatanatyam Arangetram from Chennai.
We are looking forward to welcome her back to Balvihar and learn more about her journey since she spread her wings! This should be very inspiring for our students.
